Train to Win
Senior National represents the highest level of training within the Nanaimo Riptides pathway.
This group is designed for athletes pursuing excellence at the provincial, national, and high-performance levels. Training focuses on maximizing performance potential through technical precision, race strategy, strength and conditioning, recovery, preparation, and lifestyle management.
Athletes are expected to lead by example, positively influence the athletes around them, and help set the standard for the entire club.

Program Expectations
Maintain 90% or greater attendance at scheduled practices
Participate in all targeted championship competitions
Demonstrate a high-performance mindset
Commit fully to strength and conditioning
Prioritize recovery, preparation, and healthy performance habits
Take ownership of goals and performance
Lead by example and help set the standard for the club
