Season 2019/20 membership application closed

For participants who have completed the Olympic Way program or have the equivalent skills. The Riptides competitive program offers high quality professional coaching and technique instruction.

**Due to the current escalation of the Covid-19 virus and NAC closure, we are closing all membership applications for the Spring Session (March 30th - June 13th). All previous registrations have been cancelled and funds received have been credited back to accounts to be used towards future registrations.

Olympic Way is a learn-to-swim program that teaches young swimmers the skills necessary to become proficient swimmers.  Participants in this program learn to swim more efficiently and in less time than traditional programs.

*Please note that the I Can Swim program has taken on a new name of Olympic Way. The structure of the program remains the same with Levels 1, 2 & 3

Season 2019/20 membership application closed

Swim Fit is a non-competitive group for participants who enjoy being in the water. Swimming fitness is the primary focus of this group. Workouts are designed with stroke/skill improvement in mind. This is a great cross training group for athletes who have an interest in other sports.

**We are continuing to take applications for membership for our popular summer camp and are hopeful & optimistic that the COVID-19 outbreak will be under control by August. Spots will be held and no payment will be required until confirmation of the pools reopening.**

Welcome to the Nanaimo Riptides Camp 'S' summer swim camp. 

Participants are introduced to the Riptide's renowned Learn to Swim program. The camp is designed to introduce children of all levels to the sport of swimming. The intensive one week camp teaches the basic skills and techniques of swimming that parents demand to ensure the safety of their children in aquatic environments.

The camp is for participants ages 7-12 years old and runs at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
